One of the things both Josie and I miss while traveling on the road full-time is community. We’re lucky of course to have such great friends and family. Josie and I would not still be together had it not been for all of you, you know who you are. Without a group of people, you trust, life is not only empty and meaningless, it becomes a place of fear and loneliness. Having said that, I’m excited to share with you a unique group of people we recently met out on the open road in the Escapees RV Club. Their tag line is, “A total support network for all RVers.” No matter your interest or hobby, you’ll find your tribe in the Escapees. I was amazed at all the knowledge and expertise found within this organization. If you have a question, concern or need help with something just ask, then open your heart and allow the Universe to answer. Afraid to travel alone, no problem, find a group that fits your comfort zone and interests and jump on in. Or better yet, get out of your comfort zone and experience something different, exciting and perhaps a little scary. Having known nothing about this club, we were invited and introduced to it by some dear friends we recently met on our travels. It will come as no surprise to those that know me, our first experience within the Escapees is the Boomers where whey pride themselves on (having no rules and no leaders). It is a place where things just happen organically or what I like to refer to as serendipitous. In other words, things change, constantly! Be sure to check the bulletin board regularly or you might miss out on the FUN. Josie and I feel like we’ve found our home away from home with the Boomers and look forward to participating in some of the other BOF’s and help fill some G.A.S. Tanks. X>
